Parking Restrictions on Saturday 15th August 2026

The Council’s car park on Coast Road West Mersea will be closed between 6.00pm on Friday 14th August and 11.30pm on Saturday 15th August 2026

Disabled parking for Blue Badge holders will be available on Dolphin Sails forecourt (opposite the Lifeboat Station)

No Waiting/No Loading At Any Time from 6.00am until 11.30pm on Saturday 15th August 2026
– City Road – both sides for its entire length
– Firs Road – both sides between Rosebank Road and St. Peters Road
– Coast Road – both sides between its junctions with The Lane and Victory Road
– Firs Chase – both sides for its entire length
– The Lane – both sides for its entire length
– Firs Hamlet – both sides for its entire length
– Rosebank Road – both sides for its entire length
– Stonehill Way – both sides for its entire length
– Blackwater Drive – both sides for its entire length

Save for emergency vehicles and access to property, Road Closures are between midday and 11.30pm on Saturday 15th August 2026
– Coast Road (between its junctions with The Lane and Firs Chase)

Save for emergency vehicles and access to property, Road Closures are extended between 2.00pm and 11.30pm on Saturday 15th August 2026 (Note Road closures may start earlier for safety reasons, application is valid all afternoon)

– The Lane (for its entire length)

The Regatta Committee has been advised by the authorities that the above arrangements are necessary for safety and access for emergency vehicles and hope that they will not cause undue inconvenience.
